Kinojiya Ueno

First time experienced the full blossom of sakura. well organized for the season. feeling blessed with the people here.

It is hard not to recommend places like this in Ueno. From this shopping centre to park and absolutely tens of fantastic places which offer Ueno, everything is waiting to be discovered by you. Just remember to reserve a lot of time if you want to see a bit more than a few things. Ueno, one of the place so called "must visit" if you happen to be in Tokyo.

Went there for the culture day fair. Lots of fun and good food. You can have your name written in Japanese.

Beautiful park. I visited during cherry blossom season so it was quite busy, but the beauty shone through.

when you need to rest and have a cup of coffee, you should stop here, very casual, not expensive, good curry rice too

Good shopping experience

Attached to the train station, it has adorable pop up stands, great restaurant options, and adorable shops. A great place to wait for either travel companions or a train. Also as with most public restrooms in Japan: easily accessable and well maintained.

Nice place to rest for a while, after walking and shopping.

Newly built mall full of good restaurants. Opposite the train station and beside the road leading to Ueno park and museums and zoo all make this mall a good place for lunch upstairs or coffee at downstairs.

Best place for all age to come and enjoy the surroundings.It has good place to rest,see and explore .There are both quite and noisy place in here and also place to enjoy yourself .Food enjoyment and happiness is here.

Clean and beautiful.

A very upscale shopping mall. There are amazing garment stores with fashionable merchandise. The mall is very clean and located in the Ueno station area. A good place to hang out before boarding your train. There are some nice food joints too. The restrooms are well maintained.

Between the main Ueno station and Ueno park, has my restaurants etc. Had a great farewell dinner with a still wiggling squid.

Nice place, but need to pay admission fee for more scrnery to visit

Best place for Sakura season for couple, family or company. They like come here for spending more time together for talk , eating and drink. I prefer who are single no choose come here alone like me !!! You might got see a lot of couple or family in this area for seeing Sakura

When you get out of the train station, it's really beautiful to walk around the ueno park because you can see the beautiful Sakura. The park is so overly crowded especially on a weekend day. I came around 12pm and the park was already packed, it's a great place for people to go on a date or family picnic. You have to walk around the park in order to find the street vendors but the food is delicious and very reasonable price.

A lot of places to explore! Quite cold but with konbinis, shrines, shops and museums, it's nice to wander

A lovely walk, but a word of warning. Heat and humidity are a given and I recommend listening to the government warnings.

Place is great especially during sakura season. Wish we had more time to explore the place.

Good place for everyone.. gathered with family or with friends.. we came on july during summer, fresh air althoug the weather was hot.. Very easy to get this place , just 3minutes walk away from ueno station through park gate..take right side and then we can see the park

Nice place

Ueon is a one-of-a-kind place mixed with museums, street performance, zoo, shopping malls and street shops under the railway bridges. It's not a bit of everything but in fact a lot of everything for everyone. One of my favorite place to visit in Tokyo. I always get something out of this place, no matter it is physical, experiencial or cultural.

A beautiful terrace and garden with colourful leaves and flowers everywhere, an ideal place to come during a clear day. Perfect for close-up flower photos. The landscape in the terrace is equally beautiful although somewhat in a way urban and modern. This gives the popular landmark a special characteristic. Easy accessibility through many methods of transportation.

Good place to rest and have a cup of coffee while at Ueno park. A bit quieter than Starbucks nearby. Good sweets and average quality foods.
